The Epping Arts Fair is a competitive, non-acquisitive competition and exhibition, which aims to celebrate local artists and promote the arts in our community. The event is held in the Edmund Barton Centre at Epping Boys High. Epping Boys High School (EBHS) has revived a long-standing tradition for the EBHS community and its support of the arts. The School’s 60th Anniversary in 2017 saw the Epping Art Exhibition reinstated, after last being held in 1998.
In 2018 the Exhibition was renamed the Epping Arts Fair and EBHS partnered with Epping Rotary to grow the exhibition and establish a Major Art Prize of $2,500. A new Student Prize category was also introduced.
In 2022, the Epping Arts Fair will once again celebrated local artists and art students in our community with a Major Prize of $2,500, two Highly Commended Awards and a People’s Choice Award ($500); and student prizes awarded in seven categories.
The Epping Arts Fair continues to grow in popularity, providing community connection and enjoyment of arts and culture in the local area. All funds raised through the Epping Arts Fair are put towards improvement projects for Epping Boys High School. We are extremely grateful to all our sponsors for their generous support.
